There have been several occasions in my life where I have felt like giving up or turning back. Everyone experiences struggles and obstacles on their own life journey. These challenges shape us and having the courage to overcome them make us better for the effort.

Firefighters for Healing is a non-profit organization founded in 2010 by a Minneapolis fireman who tragically experienced first hand what burn survivors endure. Firefighters for Healing brings love, support, compassion and hope to the burn injured child or firefighter and their family.

Bodhi is a Buddhist concept that translates to enlightenment or awakening. Setting and reaching personal goals or helping others in their time of need sets us on the path, but everyone can use some form of inspiration along the way. Firefighters For Healing, the children fighting to recover and all the staff and volunteers inspire me to be a better person. Donations and sponsorships go a long way to providing some hope and giving that inspiration back. I'm asking for your support in spreading this hope, being courageous and experiencing Bodhi.
